Bios

Jennifer Allman (Helena/Mustardseed/Snug) is an actor and an improviser originally from Atlanta, GA. She holds a BA in Theatre and Spanish from Berry College. Recent Chicago credits include: Dog Sees God (Marcy) with Eclectic Full Contact Theatre, Science Fiction Trouble Feature (Writer/Performer) with Huggable Riot and The Jungle Book (Akela/Kaa/Monkey) with Theatre-Hikes last season.

Bradley Baker (Director) is happy to return for another season at Theatre-Hikes. His first production with Theatre-Hikes was as an actor in 2007 in Treasure Island and Little Women. He followed the next season with directing Key Exchange and since then he has been in numerous productions and directed Jackie, An American Life, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Hobbit, The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Three Musketeers, Enchanted April, Iron Mask, and The Jungle Book with Theatre-Hikes. He has also enjoyed directing with Hobo Robo, Indie Boots Theatre Festival, Abbie Hoffman Died for our Sins Theatre Festival, The Revels at The Quadrangle Club, University of Chicago and Summerplace Theater in Naperville in Chicago as well as productions in New York and California. He thanks his family, friends this cast and crew and his husband for all of their love and support.

Tommy Lukrich (Demetrius/Fairy/Bottom/Pyramus) is returning for a third season with Theatre-Hikes. He received his BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Idaho. Tommy would like to thank his friends and mother for their ever present kindness and generosity. What humble honor in presenting mirth.

Nick Nyquist (Stage Manager) Chicago: The Good Person of Szchewan (Cor Theatre). The Theatre School: Michael Jordan in Lilliput, Hedda Gabler, Romeo and Juliet, WTF...in Kilgore, Texas?, Prospero's Storm, Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Nick is originally from Seattle, WA. He is currently pursuing a BFA in Stage Management from The Theatre School at DePaul University.

Sam Porter (Hermia/Peasblossom/Snout) is thrilled to return to Theatre-Hikes! Some of her favorite past credits include: Elizabeth (Young Frankenstein), Lucy (Youre A Good Man, Charlie Brown) and Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods). She also has performed in numerous cabarets around the city. Love and profound gratitude to AP.

Matthew Powell (Costume Designer) has worked on almost every production with Theatre-Hikes over the past several years. You may recognize his prop/puppet work from Jackie, The Hobbit, Wizard of Oz, Around the World in 80 days, Hound of the Baskervilles, Alice in Wonderland, and The Jungle Book, and as director for The Wizard of Oz, Wind in the Willows, A Walk with Mark Twain, You're a Good man, Charlie Brown!, Clue, and last seasons, Driving Miss Daisy. Thank you Bradley for all you do to keep us on the trails.

Allison Reinke (Hippolyta/Titania/Quince) is a Chicago born actress who has been playing around town for the past seven years. Some of her favorite past credits include Holmes vs. Holmes (E.D.G.E), MacSith (E.D.G.E), Mileep Saves Tuesday (Corn Productions) and Enchanted April (Theatre-Hikes). She would like to thank the cast for being magical and her family for being so supportive. And a special thanks to her boyfriend Rob, to the moon and back my love.

Eldridge Shannon III (Egeus/Puck) was born and raised in Evanston, IL. He started training in west Los Angeles, California at Amazing Grace Conservatory when he was 10 and instantly fell in love with acting. He is currently training and assistant teaching at Piven Theatre Workshop. His previous shows with Theatre-Hikes includes The Jungle Book, playing the role of Mowgli, and Ten Ways To Survive The Zombie Apocalypse. Fresh off of producing his second short film, Eldridge is blessed to be working on an exciting, new role that he hopes will captivate the audiences around Chicago and Morton Arboretum!

Timothy Sullivan (Lysander/Cobweb/Flute/Thisby) is excited to work with Theatre-Hikes again. Chicago credits include: Mycroft Holmes (u/s) and Stamford (u/s) in Miss Holmes; Arnold Crouch in Not Now, Darling! (Brightside Theatre); Sir Robin in Spamalot (Metropolis); the Duke (u/s) in Two Gentlemen of Verona (Oak Park Festival Theatre); Kahless Past in A Klingon Christmas Carol (Commedia Beauregard). Regional credits include: King Arthur in Camelot and Andrew Aguecheek in Twelfth Night (Oxford Shakespeare Festival); Chip in The 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee (Red Barn Summer Theatre). He received his BA and BM from Lawrence University and MFA from WIU.

Justin Vidovic (Theseus/Oberon/Starveling) he previously appeared as Aramis in the Theatre-Hikes production of Iron Mask, in which he used two swords to fight off nine men. Other favorite roles he has played include Sweeney Todd, Mercutio, Harold Hill, Lumiere, Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Van Helsing, Sydney Carton, Uncle Fester, and the Velveteen Rabbit. This is the second time he has appeared as a fairy but last time he did not have wings. He is the co-creator of the Brimblebanks Brothers Electronic Storytime and is a professor at a college where he also directs plays.
